Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Full Stack Engineer at vFineTune Limited in Chippenham. The role involves front-end and back-end web development, software development, and implementing CSS for web applications.

Job Description

• Work closely with client teams to document requirements and support strategic system integration.

• Develop user stories and customer journeys to identify pain points and digitisation opportunities.

• Create product designs using sketches, wireframes, user flows, mock-ups and prototypes, and communicate design rationale to stakeholders.

• Assess business cases to estimate value realisation from digitisation opportunities.

• Support automation of business processes across industries.

• Develop automation test harnesses and translate feedback into actionable solutions.

• Architect solutions using AWS services and microservices architectures.

• Collaborate with the Cloud Platform team to use modern CI/CD practices with automated deployment.

• Monitor product performance, handle maintenance requests, and track KPIs to evaluate design decisions.

• Implement digital product design standards and methods.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience designing and digitising capabilities and processes into digital products.

• Ability to gather requirements, define features and design end-to-end user experiences.

• Experience handing off designs to developers through clear documentation and specifications.

• Knowledge of cloud technologies, solutions development, digital experience, and application delivery management.

• Knowledge of Angular/React, Node.js, Java Spring Boot, and AWS (e.g., Step Functions).

• Knowledge of modern UI/UX standards, trends and tools.

• Strong collaboration skills and experience working with cross-functional global teams.

• Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

• Quality assurance, software testing and QA automation skills.

• Knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Certifications in QA/testing are a plus.

Job Description

• Strong awareness of recent Java versions and features; proficiency in Java 8 and 11.

• Advanced usage of JUnit and TestNG (and familiarity with other test frameworks is a plus).

• Apply coding standards and best practices to ensure high-quality test code.

• Use design patterns in test automation and handle exceptions and errors effectively.

• Work with Selenium WebDriver, JUnit and TestNG.

• Work with Cucumber (BDD) and contribute to framework improvements/customisation.

• Perform REST API testing using tools such as Rest Assured.

• Enhance and maintain automation frameworks aligned with project needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage paid social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Google, etc.) and understand how creatives and tactics impact CPC, CPM and ROAS.

• Manage the technical and creative implementation of the e-commerce strategy.

• Develop best-in-class e-commerce operations including SEO, email campaigns, Google Ads and support external retailers to improve consumer experience.

• Build and maintain analytics tools to measure e-commerce performance.

• Collaborate with sales and marketing to ensure activities align to brand strategy and drive commercial outcomes.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Candidate Requirements

• E-commerce management experience in a consumer brand or marketing agency.

• 1–2 years hands-on experience managing and delivering e-commerce content and systems.

• Strong analytical mindset; ability to use data to inform improvements.

• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in Google Analytics, Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
